I honestly don't know what the fuck you are talking about clad.

We won't pronounce a word the same way twice? What? How? When?

When I say the word “crocodile” I say it the same way every single time “crocodile, crocodile, crocodile” it NEVER changes.

And the accent? My accent is hundreds of years older than your country so do show some respect. Your American accent is the result of people in the west country of England. That's why you overpronounce your “rrrrrrs” its like west country farmers “ooooarrrrrr me beauty!”

And the Canadians influenced by the Scottish “what's that all aboot eh?”

I like that London bridge was total dismantled and rebuilt in America. I hear we are looking for a big alarm clock now. Any ideas?

I almost forgot about ole Charles II I like him. He put women back on the stage, no more male Juliets!!!
I don't like that most about England though just a teensy bit.
Then Monty Python came along.........

Every Brit doesn't do it but a lot of the actors and more famous ones do. It varies from crocodile to crocadile to cracodile to crookadile to crocodeal and the list just goes on and on and on. There can be literally thousands of pronunciations for each word because the vowel sound are flexible.

It's hard enough understanding the accent without this variation.

Oh aye? I'm from north east England.

Where do you call yem?

Some people in here don't like me but that's mostly because I'm an asshole not because of my nationality.

Although there are notable exceptions, mohammed has a chip on his shoulder because hegot German blood and still hasn't forgiven us for Dresden. And Crash is an aussie and has a chip on his shoulder about us creating his country as a place so terrible we sent convicts there as a punishment.
I'm from the Boro mate. And you have got to be a Geordie if you use the word 'yem'!! But i have loads of Geordie mates so you are more than ok in my book. Where are you living now?

It's largely due to the great culture they can generate and their typical level headedness. Any country that can produce the likes of Churchill and Shakespeare has to be a great country.

I hate the way they won't pronounce a word the same way twice. I miss out on a lot of the culture because the accent is simply ridiculous. Pick a damn pronunciation and stick with it.
The only variation in pronunciation I have come across is from region to region, the dialect. I honestly can't say I have heard anyone pronounce the same word differently, with the exception of someone trying to sound posher than they really are and forgetting to pronounce their 'H's'. I understand all the accents in England , but that's because I have been all over the country at one time or another, well...until the cops caught up with me that is. Oops

OH Fuck. You don't mean Big Ben is gonna end up in Times Square or someplace do you? This government is strapped for cash so if one of you guys has put a bid in for Big Ben (say £100) then they will sell it. Mind you, the chimes wake me up every morning, and I live 300 miles away from it.
