I am more of a hands on kind of guy and even at that have never left more than a light hand print on any ass anywhere.

Fuck, you might all fall over at this, but I agree with Loosey. It is degrading to women, as if there is a perception that if a woman has had previous sexual partners, she is somehow flawed, but if she is ultra attractive or looks expensive, you won't care about that.

It would turn me off that brand.

I don't think the target market would be all men, just dolts. I mean, I can see people thinking the photo is sexy, but can't imagine the caption/message appealing to more than a small minority of luxury car purchasers or people in general.

I doubt it's real. "Preowed"? Probably just a cheeky prank.

Got curious and did a quick search on the Aston Martin OP ad -- it's a fake that went viral.

What appears to be a woman IS actually a wigged Filipino boy.

Okay, not really -- it's a pic plucked straight outta German Playboy which the prankster Photoshopped to create the phony car ad. This the Dutch model in the OP photo.

What did surprise me is that BMW used the actual caption/message, though a much tamer photo, in a 2008 ad for their Premium Selection pre-owned vehicles.

So, maybe it did appeal to more than a small minority of luxury car purchasers and the general population after all? I don't know whether that ad campaign paid off or not.

You would have to be a pretty big idiot to buy Any car based on the content of 1 add.
I have always bought mine based on what I need and how well the vehicle met those needs.
I always drove hot rods until I got my first truck, still kept a hot rod around though.

I drive an old pick-up truck and don't read much in the way of magazines or watch much commercial tv; mostly news media and cable.

So, this was new to me -- the recent BMW ad campaign that's generated some controversy.

IDK, to me, it's like BMW is targeting the insecure and superficial -- probably a bigger target market than I'd like to believe.

Guess the premise is nothing new, though. "Sex sells" has been a marketing philosophy for a very long time; seems maybe marketing campaigns are just getting more overt with the associative messages. Sign of the times?
