I have never left a forum because of taking heat, I've been known to cheerfully and gleefully argue down an entire room in real life, the internet means very little. However, I do subscribe to the notion that one should stand behind one's words so I have been known to step away when my own irritability and behavior starts to go too far. You people think the stuff I write is occasionally a bit too much, you should see the stuff I delete as too over-the top. Yikes. I'm on an overall mission to be less asinine, condescending and generally prickish (pricklike? Prickly?) But oh, the struggle.
I will let you know if it ever works.

I joined at the invitation of Frank. Was booed right out of here. Waited a couple of weeks and made a second attempt to enter (upfront about my first attempt).
Sinister gave me a ration, so did Sally as I recall... I don't think Duchess liked me much at first. Took a bit getting used to this place. Only advice I wish I had
taken was to lurk for awhile- get a flavor of how things work here before really jumping in.
Probably didn't help to be in Law Enforcement either (back then... I don't think anyone would care today. . .).
Back on topic: Ramsey sure put up with a lot of heckling.

I almost left a few times. Not necessarily because I couldn't take it but I didn't want to. I couldn't see the point in being in a place so negative. But for some reason I stayed. I'm usually glad I did.
