Go to My Account > Preferences and uncheck the box that has this next to it:

Always notify by e-mail when replies posted to topics you participated in

If you do or did that and are still getting messages then maybe you are using the quick reply and keeping the box checked under the message area on quick reply.

On a sidenote, this is a temporary quick reply, the software is being upgraded and a different one is coming with it.

You may also want to make sure you Unwatch a topic you are getting emails from by clicking that button at the bottom of a topic.
