Trolls often like to make excuses too ... like, explaining how good and right their posts are, or how it is the fault of other people that they break simple rules or standards just to keep pushing the buttons of others. They often think they are not trolls because they are intelligent or put some craft into their posts, but at the end of the day, they trolled.

I agree, they are not the stereotypical lower-end trolls. They are high-end, sophisticated, subtle, etc. They still have done A LOT of trolling in the past, though.

I am a counter punching troll, I never initiate the trolling but I will respond to it. At 24 the initial antagonist usually goes unpunished, while the person reacting to it is chastised.
Mill and 66GTO seem to have carte blanche to troll and goad, only when someone else reacts to it is any action taken. The last "dogshit" thread at 24proves this conclusively, MF deletes my post and closes the thread onlyto realise GTO used exactly the same terminology to antagonise me earlier which went curiously unnoticed.
As has always been the case, one rule for them, another rule for us.
