Consumer Reports granted Mickey D's top status in coffee. They beat out all the "stars".

I don't tolerate caffiene well. I suffer when I eat chocolate, but of course, it's worth it.

RE: Coffee or Tea? - BlueTiki - 08-20-2011

I like McDonald's coffee, too.

Okay . . . true confession.

I have a brother who roasts my beans. He's kinda famous.

He's a snob and I'm his bitch . . . as long as he roasts to my specs.

Tiki Valdez? I like it.

I would be a coffee snob, too, if I had the good shit on the cheap.

Island coffee or abused labor country coffee?

hah

You are a mellow soul at heart, F2. You would be better off heating up bong water.

Strong coffee. The brand doesn't matter to me. Where it's grown doesn't matter to me. I refuse to pay $$$ for a fucking cup of coffee at Starbucks, but donut shop coffee and fast food coffee is great on road trips. I keep instant coffee in the house as a back up in case I run out of filters or brew coffee. Folgers crystals isn't too bad. When I lived in Japan, I lived on vending machine coffee. They sell it in cans everywhere, hot coffee and iced coffee - good stuff.

Iced tea is nice in the summer (especially with a splash of vodka).

RE: Coffee or Tea? - FAHQTOO - 08-20-2011

hah....Ewww...I've only smoked from a bong maybe 3 times in my life. I just toke off my one-hitter.

I did have some tea once from starbucks that was brought into work. I really liked it but would never stop there daily for a fix. Common sense tells me I have better things to do with my money...like buy some weed.

instant coffee is an abomination unto the Lord. 30Priest

Ha ha. True, but it's way better than no coffee first thing in the morning...

Full spectrum.

It's like pairing wine with food. Time of day, mood or meal.

For me, it's all about the roast and quality of beans . . . plus a burr coffee grinder with the appropriate setting for your specific beverage purpose.

Screw the fancy drip systems!

Toss them grounds in a bandana and pour boiling water over 'em, into a enameled camping mug.

The smell of frying bacon is a plus.

I used to be a tea snob! I am serious. Earl grey only.

These days I love that nescafe caramel satchel thingys. sorry lc. I hate insant but they are divine.

PEET's coffee. I'm too lazy to grind the beans so I buy it pre-ground. I have a stainless steel Mr. Coffee. The coffee MUST be set up the evening before and ready for me when I stumble downstairs. I know I lose some flavor that way but I can't function until I've had my first cup so it's worth it.

I buy my coffee in bulk resturaunt style coffee 60 one lbs bags for 60.00 its better than maxwell house or any of the other ones I've tried. Every so often I go to the Turkish place and buy Turkish tea for my wife, nobody grows tea leaves like they do. You will find that most English teas come from Turkey and India. She uses this ball thing when she makes it.
Black hot coffee all the way but I do like iced coffee with cream and a little sugar.
Does replying to this thread make me a fem? Because thats not what I wanted.

RE: Coffee or Tea? - Cynical Ninja - 08-21-2011

Don't drink coffee anymore so its tea for me.

I like it as strong as fuck with just a drop or two of cold 2% milk no sugar.

PG tips or Tetleys tea bags, no teapot straight in the cup.

I don't care much for hot tea, but I do like iced tea. I make it with Celestial Seasonings tangerine zinger, frsh mint and lemon.

I like to brag about my coffee machine, it's from Switzerland and makes the best coffee with a touch of a button no matter what kind of beans you use.
