RE: Stress - ramseycat - 10-12-2012

I had a little retail therapy last night as well. I brought Thing 1 with me and he got some jeans and shirts. I got three new sweaters and some earrings. It definitley helped!

RE: Stress - Jezreel - 10-12-2012

Whenever you say thing 1 and thing 2 for your kids, I always end up singing Cat in the Hat and then it's stuck in my head for the whole day. Did you guys sing in the car - 'Here we go go go go, on an adventure....'

RE: Stress - ramseycat - 10-12-2012

hahhaaaa Jez. My sister actually started calling the boys that years ago because they loved The Cat in the Hat.

IF only I could get them to get on their little machine and clean the house......

Duchess might enjoy the 50 Shades series. We might be the only women in America who haven't read the books.

RE: Stress - Mohammed - 10-13-2012

Judging from how the girls seem to cope best with stress, I say they obviously need more of it.

Loads to be exact!

But this is again a wonderful example of "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus". We deal with things very differently. Women are stressed out, don't need a solution but a process to deal with it. Men on the other side watch a movie, have a drink, anything to forget about it, unlike women who carry it around with them. But in the end we're all having sex. That's what life boils down to. Stress sex.

Walking is my stress reliever.

If the phone is really busy and I can't get out and walk, I pull out the stepper and pound it between calls (unless my guy is in town, then "stress sex" rises to the top of the list and I get pounded instead.)
