Dodge ball and Tug of War were the best games in elementary school PE. If there's a teacher there and they still use the big pink rubber balls, it seems pretty wimpy to ban dodge ball altogether.
Yesterday, I read about another example of politically correct morons and the school system.
An Idaho science teacher is being investigated by the state over the content of his 10th-grade biology class. Complaints about Tim McDaniel by scandalized Dietrich school parents include: using the word "vagina," talking about orgasms, showing a video clip of genital herpes, and teaching different forms of birth control during his class on the reproductive system.
McDaniel teaches biology, which includes a sex-ed curriculum. He hadn't a complaint against him in 18 years, before this class. I guess he's supposed to teach 10th graders about The Stork. Who are these parents and what's in the water there in Idaho?

It's unbelievable to me that a science teacher is under fire for using the word "vagina" to teach biology.
For some reason, I thought about the teen boys and girls at the center of the Steubenville rape case when reading this story; same age as McDaniel's students. Pretty naive for parents of high schoolers to think sexual references are anything new to their teens' ears.

Human growth and development doesn't include any information about sexual acts and most states don't allow birth control discussions. If you want to learn about birth control, ask your parents or a doctor. If you want to learn about squirting orgasms, go to college.
I think it's creepy as fuck to discuss that with 15 year olds (and retarded 17 year olds still taking sophomore classes).

I think I started having the chat with both my kids when they were like 6 or 7 and I haven't shut up since. I've probably scarred them for life which is why they haven't shown more interest in dating. But, they tell me everything. My daughter knows I'd get her b/c and my son knows I'll kill him if he gets a girl pregnant.

My 16 year old just watched movies of a vaginal birth and a c-section at school as part of sex Ed. He was more grossed out by the c-section.
