Harvest Moon, re your post #344, about Deborah's mother being an alcoholic. Alcoholism can be nature and/or nurture as
we know so think maybe she could have had problem also. Maybe she had a blackout and doesn't know if she did something to baby.
It was said baby had a cold. Perhaps she was fussy and was given a some wine to calm her. According to your post, Deborah's mother's name was Lisa; you could assume baby named after her mother.
This is off-topic, but New York Times says America's Most Wanted will be moving to Lifetime network later this year.
No specific date was given.

I am just baffled on this one.Did the mysteryman (her brother) get the body out of there.The timeline is important on this.What time did the husband LEAVE for work?Did the brother stay? What time did the older kids go to sleep?Did they check the cesspool if they have one?Somethings just don't addup with this case.Maybe it is just me.When was the last time the baby was seen by someone other than the family?

Feeling pressure from police, Irwin’s family hired a man their consultant Bill Stanton called the best lawyer he’s ever seen.

Joe Tacopina, once called the devil’s advocate and perhaps the most-hated lawyer in New York by the New York Post, handles high-profile cases. His past clients include Michael Jackson and Joran Van Der Sloot, the man suspected in the 2008 disappearance of Natalee Holloway in Aruba.
“I learned that you can’t jump to conclusions,” Tacopina said. “I learned that you can’t jump to conclusions. You have to, despite the suspicion and rank speculation, you have to dictate by the evidence.”
Tacopina said his role is helping police find baby Lisa whose been missing for weeks.BULLSHIT To do so, Tacopina aims to ease tension. Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin complained that investigators are confrontational.
On NBC’s Today Show Monday morning, Bradley admitted being drunk the night baby Lisa disappeared. Bradley also said she last saw her child at 6:30 that same night. She previously told police 10:30.
“My opinion of that is that it’s certainly not material at the end of the day,” Tacopina said. THE HELL IT ISN'T
In a statement, police spokesman Captain Steve Young responded.
“Clearly, the parents’ level of cooperation hasn’t been what it needs to be to help find this child,” Captain Young said. “Should they change their minds, our door is always open.”
“We’re open to any and everything as long as I know we’re all acting in good faith with the same purpose,” Tacopina said. “They want to do whatever they need to do to make sure this baby comes back.”
Tacopina said police have ample evidence of a break-in at the Irwin home the night Lisa disappeared. Despite rumor, he is optimistic Lisa’s parents will not be arrested.
However, Irwin’s family is getting ready for that possibility, Tacopina said.

I'm beginning to have doubts on whether they (parents) do want to find baby Lisa. I mean, Deborah would rather lie, and fail the polygraph test, than admit to being so drunk she couldn't 'remember' checking on Lisa.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Authorities are investigating a possible sighting of missing 11-month-old Lisa Irwin in the Manhattan, Kan., area.
The Kansas Highway Patrol officials said Riley County police asked them to put out an alert about a small black car with Missouri tags with two women and a baby inside.
According to the Highway Patrol, the women were seen at a McAlister's Deli at 421 Tuttle Creek Blvd. on Tuesday. Investigators said the women were in a booth at the restaurant and left without eating their meals after people took notice of them.
The women are described as white and in their 20s. One woman had dark hair with a pink hooded sweatshirt and the second woman had light brown hair and a slender build.

One that has never argued a case in court?

They are wise to hire a good lawyer now, it may help them not to say things that will later bite them in the ass.
I would do the same thing, guilty or not, I would hire the best attorney I could afford.
Hire the best attorney for the kind of legal advice you need. Greg Skordas represented Elizabeth Smart’s family. Or John G. Kelly who represented Nathalie Holloway’s family as well as the estate of Nicole Brown Simpson. But instead they go with the attorney for Nathalie Holloway’s alleged killer?
I’m surprised he was on the list they got to choose from, quite frankly. I seriously doubt he’s “the best” attorney to represent the innocent family of a missing baby. He’s the kind of guy you bring in when you are trying to make the best of a bad conviction that’s coming your way.
Also, in the Elizabeth Smart kidnapping, it was a tip from one of her sisters that led to the identity of the kidnapper. Lisa Irwin’s family should really be grilling her brothers for info. That is unless they already know what happened to Lisa Irwin and therefore don’t need to ask.
In the meantime, it appears they’re “looking for the real killer” like OJ was.
