So you think pasteurization is some wonderful panacea that has no adverse effects?
It's great for shelf life, but it kills everything that's beneficial in milk and juices.

You can't be giving babies milk with bacteria in it, right? Am I wrong? Doesn't it cause dreadful issues? If I'm wrong I know you'll tell me so. If you're going to make me argue then I'm going to have to go read about it and that's not really what I envisioned doing right now.

You cannot give babies raw milk because of the risk of bacteria, the same thing with honey..The powdered formula runs a small risk of bacteria as well because it isn't sterilized like the ready made liquid formula.

I don't drink milk at all. Humans are the only ones who continue to drink milk once weaned as a baby, I don't think it's healthy.

If we're talking about industrial agriculture, I'd say that's very risky, because the animals are poorly cared for. If we're talking about small-scale agriculture where animals are properly cared for, I'd say the risk is small. Ideally, mothers should breast feed, but goat milk is another good choice, because their weight is similar to humans.
Bottom line, everything entails some degree of risk.

I don't like the taste of milk, but I love yogurt, cottage cheese and pretty much all cheese. I try to avoid it though, but when I do buy it I get the organic, grass fed stuff.
