casey has seen the photos before. this was not some big shock. in fact, she didn't even look today after the first one.
the defense is floundering, mason tried a cross today and fell on his face. they wanted OUT of court. but this testimony is going to come in whether casey is there or not. Judge might have allowed it once, but he won't continue to allow it.
anyway, that was what the jurors left for the day thinking about. not poor widdle casey, but poor little Caylee. they'll sleep on that.

Source: Orange County Corrections Department
Casey Anthony has returned to the Orange County Jail where she is being seen by Corrections Health Services medical staff. No information can be released regarding her treatment or medical condition due to HIPPA and Florida Medical and Mental Health Confidentiality Laws.
Because transportation would be involved, no information can be provided as to whether Casey Anthony will be at tomorrow's court proceedings. Orange County Corrections will never reveal the transport of any inmate in our custody due to the security risks posed by such knowledge being made public.

a little info about the transportation routine. she is awakened early for breakfast, and then taken to booking to put on her civilian clothes. then she is cuffed and shackled, with a belly chain. she gets into back of the jail van in jail sally port and is taken to courthouse. then she is brought in the prisoner entrance from the garage where she has been unloaded out of public view. she is placed in a holding cell right outside courtroom. she spends breaks in holding cell.

I look at that baby's room and backyard and know very very few

Corrections health officials will decide Friday whether Anthony is well enough to attend proceedings. If they deem she is, but Anthony believes she is not, Judge Belvin Perry will hold a special hearing to decide when the trial will continue.

Inmate Anthony will attend court today and is now in the secured areas of the Orange County Courthouse.

this happens often in murder cases, out of respect for the feelings of the victims' families.
remember the Gainesville Ripper (danny rolling) case? the crime scene photos were kept at the state attny. office (still are) and people had to sign in to view them.
sometimes they leak out eventually and certain sites will have them.

I do remember the Danny Rollings case, lived in 'Gator Nation' while all that horrendousness was going on! Very scary time for all!
It does make sense to want to protect the family as I couldn't imagine them wanting to see what their daughter did to their granddaughter! Thanks for the reply!
