Pretty fuckin' wild to see some of you sanctioning an ass beating of a little kid because he told faculty someone/s tried to sell him drugs in their special school. This is a young kid in school not an adult in a dive bar.

I don't condone it. And it's not like my kids condone a 3 on 1 ass beating. They would never turn a blind eye to someone else being hurt either. Their opinion is to just walk away from the drug dealer. Personally, I would turn them in and have. Thing 2 told me about two kids selling pot at school and I told his counselor. The school addressed it WITHOUT involving me or my son. Which is how this school should have handled it. My son doesn't even know I told the school.

Do we know that school authorities told the thugs that the other kid narked on them? If they did, then it was pretty negligent and short-sighted. Expect a lawsuit.
I don't think the kid deserved a beating for snitching or anything else, but don't really know what went down. He might have a beef with the thugs and told them that he turned them in himself.
If I were the bus driver, I don't think I could have helped myself from physically intervening, no matter what. But, if he's not in good condition, I don't really think he did anything wrong if he pulled the bus over and called police right away. Armed school bus drivers. Is that next? Pretty sad.
In any case, the thugs were arrested for aggravated assault and there are witnesses. That's a lot more trouble than they would have gotten into for trying to push a little weed in the boy's room (which would have been harder to prove). Dipshits.

The world is a dangerous place! I have raised 4 boys, all four are great contributors to society. I have taught them to walk away from confrontation because now days people do not fight with their fists like we did. It just is not worth dying for. When it comes to snitching, if there were none, most crimes would go unsolved. My rule is if you are hurting someone or attempting to hurt another, we are snitching on you. After the stitches heal, I am coming after your ass!

After I told the school about the boys selling pot, Thing 2 came home and told me they both had their lockers and backpacks searched. I asked why. He said probably looking for pot. They didn't find anything. He never even suspected I told. Now mind you, he was in 7th grade. If he had been in high school I might not have said anything. Smoking pot at 12 or 13 bothers me more than at 16 or 17.
