This thread seriously feels like a virtual ride on the public bus.
Somebody's looking wrong at somebody, confrontations, people arguing...throw in a rambling drunk guy, a couple making out in the back, and an annoying teen screaming into her cell phone and it would be right on the money.

I don't think what you did on the bus makes you a bad guy, even though I don't view the situation as you do. You explained what you did and why; it's what you thought was right under the circumstances. Good.
By far, more people in this thread have supported rather than disagreed with you. Where are you getting this, "I'm the bad guy!" persecution mentality from again?
As far as I can see, the only one arguing with you is sally because she thinks you overreacted and you were just looking for attention/drama - something you've been all over her ass about for a while now, even after she explained that it wasn't the case. You claim not to believe her stated motives and she claims not to believe yours. So what?

The fucking last word from me on this subject.
1 - no Duch the steep spiral staircases aren't used anymore because of health and safety. On modern buses the staircases are straight and not as steep. The also only have one opening to get up them unless you stand at or near the bottom of the stairs it is impossible to watch someone climbing the stairs unless you have x-ray vision.
2 - the dirty old pervert eyeballed the girl and as she went to climb the stairs he got out of his seat walked across the aisle and deliberately stood at the bottom of the stairs with the express purpose of looking up her skirt. In fact he had to half crouch bend at the waist and angle his head to get an eyeful. In other words he was going out of his way to look up her skirt.
3 - I watched the reaction of the passengers on the bus, they were all looking at each other and shaking their heads and tutting under their breath and I thought “fuck it” and called him out. I was not seeking attention or being a drama queen I was calling out a pervert for being a perve.

Whether you were completely serious or "joking" in your comment, those were the words from your head and fingers and that was my response.
Just like the last few times you pulled the "I'm the bad guy!" card when one person or more disagreed with you, with or without a "lol", my comment equally stands and shouldn't impede your ability to have your laugh.
Having a laugh is a major reason for most of us being here - I get it.
