This particular Portland extremist is definitely an evil-thinker and evil-doer; he was building up to committing such a terrible crime for a long time. He was on the radar for years.

Christian told arresting officers he hoped all the people whose throats he cut died. His hate isn't confined to non-white people, but all people who don't share his racist hate and ideology.

He considers his hate and violence to be 'national patriotism'. Unfortunately, there are more than a few individuals and organized groups in the U.S. who share his mindset or make excuses for it.
