Ironic when you consider Italian men are among the most self pampered metrosexual fucks in the world, piddling about on their little scooters with their Dolce and Gabbana silk scarves trailing behind them.

"Yoo-hoo! ciao bella"

I am not talking about Italian men in tights over by you in PC liberal fag Europe, hanging around London for a chance to act in theatre. I am talking about Italian New Yorkers.

RE: Do any smileys make you think of a particular person? - Cynical Ninja - 12-16-2009

So you admit your Italian brethren are nothing more than a nation of sissy fuck, scooter riding, metro punk, pasta eating, surrender monkeys?

Ah, but the apple never falls too far from tree my Italian friend.

Keep going. Us Italian New Yorkers don't often get to experience the kind of entertainment you can get by watching some fair-haired douche in England put us down. It's what we imagine thoroughbred horses enjoy when the mules start mouthing off. Please, do keep going.

You're more like a sway backed old gelding with bad feet.

Whenever anyone outside of New York hears the phrase "Italian American" they think to themselves "hired mafia goon?, waiter?, or child molesting priest?"

This is what I think of when someone says New York Italian:

Yeah, I forgot guineas are handy with their fists where women are concerned, just another reason why Franks thinks they are so cool no doubt.

Sorry, Muslim fags aren't qualified to comment on Italian Americans.

Frank, you should watch The Jersey Shore. I think it's on MTV. It's all about guidos and guidettes.

That show actually made our evening news...The Italians in Jersey & Philly are outraged...They say no one could have stereotyped blacks or Jews in the same fashion and gotten away with it...I don't even know the premise of the show other than it has something to do with young Italians.

They are all in their 20's and put in a house on the Jersey Shore for the summer. Every single guy thinks he is the hottest thing ever. They all blow dry their hair and HAVE to have their hair products. The guys are more high maintenance then the girls. It's pretty funny. Major drama.

I was under the impression these were 'real' people, not actors portraying stereotypical behavior.

That's the right impression...The people complaining said it shows Italians in a poor light, they had a problem with the shows' title too...They felt their heritage was being dissed because these young people were such clowns, even tho it is a "reality" show they thought every stereotype regarding Italians was exaggerated for television.

RE: Do any smileys make you think of a particular person? - LuMPyPussy - 12-16-2009

Um... I hate to break the news to these offended Eyetalian Americans, but if you google "Guido" you can find thousands of photos of these young idiots that are perpetuating this hateful stereotype. Maybe it's a stereotype for a reason.

I live right by that stupid house for the show and the shore was bloated during the filming.

Fact: Guido's are not a NJ thing but they are indeed indigenous to the NYC area, mainly the Bensonhurst, Brooklyn area and various areas in Queens.

Italians that I grew up with did not and do not act like that.

I watched the show once and couldn't make it to the end! Jesus H Christ these goons are all ass clowns to the extreme. The girls! OMG what a bunch of baby whores. Dirty girls.

No, this is a fairly new phenomenon that has morphed I'd say over the last 10 years or so and they are exaggerated for the show and for when they come to the shore in the summer "hunting".

Duchess, I saw the outraged Italians too and I have to say that I'm with him on this. These clowns honestly are not representative of Italian Americans and are only some sort of retard factor from they NYC area. I've been here long enough to say without a doubt we do not have the Guido effect here but for a couple months out of the year at the shore.

That really made me laugh out loud and I don't even know why, I have tears coming out of my eyes 28. It must be all the beer I've been drinking just for the taste.
