The homeless man who had 80 per cent of his face chewed off in a horrific attack along a busy Miami highway is now 'awake and alert', according to doctors at Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center.
A photograph shown to reporters today portrayed Ronald Poppo walking down a hospital hallway, supported by hospital staff on either side of him.
The man had his left eye removed but doctors are hoping to restore vision in his right eye, which was also severely damaged in the attack.

Public pools are kinda nasty.
Yes, I think about whales peeing in the ocean, too. Especially if I wade through a warm spot. I know it isn't, I understand about convection currents and tidal currents, I just can't help but think that.
Chlorine is instant kill. But, in a public pool there arent enough ppm (parts per million) to achieve
instant kill. So yes, you would be swimming in other peoples vagina and ass juice.

Well more or less instant. Sunshine kille chlorine, thats why you have to use stabilizer. Fortunately, most of the nasties you fear will only be on people that are not in your pool, at least thats my story. Of those that might be on one of my guests, they croak in a matter of seconds.
I make it a practice to have clean friends.

Have you ever been to a water park, Duchess? Everyone and their poopy babies are packed in. There is one in GA, I forget the name but I'm sure Cracker knows. MIAMI – A Florida medical examiner says only marijuana was found in the system of a Florida man shot while chewing another man's face.
The Miami-Dade County Medical Examiner's released the toxicology results Tuesday on 31-year-old Rudy Eugene. Lab results found marijuana in his system, but not any other street drugs, alcohol or prescription drugs.
The department has ruled out the most common components found in the street drugs known as bath salts. An outside forensic toxicology lab also confirmed the results.
