LOL RE: Jake Kimbley, 2 TX - found dead - Lady Cop - 09-08-2012 it doesn't take long to determine if someone drowned. so something other than drowning is suspected. no autopsy findings yet. ![]() -------------------- SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - The parents of two-year-old Jake Kimbley, whose body was found in a septic tank behind his family's home just hours after he was reported missing, were in court Friday for a custody hearing on the remaining five living children. David and Sabrina Kimbley, who are both held in the Smith County Jail, were denied access to their children in court on Friday. The Kimbleys were also denied possessory conservatorship, which would've allowed them to retain legal rights to their children and allowed them to communicate with the kids. The presiding judge, Judge Carole Clark said if the parents had possessory conservatorship, it would endanger the children. She continued that it was in the best interest of the kids to remain in foster care. Matt Thigpen, an attorney working on the case says the decision is temporary, and the Kimbleys will have another custody hearing in about a month. A second attorney working on the case, Cameron Castleberry says a man who lives out-of-state took part in the hearing by phone. Castleberry says that man is the biological father of one of the Kimbley's children. Attorneys say the out-of-state man is being considered as a possible placement alternative for the one child. RE: Jake Kimbley, 2 TX - found dead - SensibleSally - 09-22-2012 Not sure if anyone has been keeping up with this case. But, grandpa was sentenced to 20 years for his probation violation! So, that's one bit of good news. link here with lots of interesting reading proving things I have said all along. Though the defense is wrong with their timetables. http://www.kltv.com/story/19606790/kimbley-step-grandfather-sentenced-to-20-years-in-prison About Jake: I have heard through the grapevine that there are results on the autopsy. But, they have yet to be released, which makes me wonder. If it was nothing suspect, why not release it? RE: Jake Kimbley, 2 TX - found dead - Lady Cop - 09-22-2012 Thankyou Sally2! i haven't been able to keep up in crime forum last week or so. prison long overdue for grandpa pig. ![]() RE: Jake Kimbley, 2 TX - found dead - koko - 09-23-2012 Guy looks like a caricature RE: Jake Kimbley, 2 TX - found dead - Jezreel - 10-03-2012 Glad Grandpa is in prison, now lets get on with putting the parents of Jake there too! Sally2, have you heard anything? RE: Jake Kimbley, 2 TX - found dead - SensibleSally - 10-08-2012 No news on autopsy. They are doing the entomology part, as I understand it. I did hear that Granny "tried" to commit suicide. I'm sure somebody closer to that area can find for sure information on that. Sounds like Grandma tried to take the easy way out, if that is the case I am glad she didn't succeed, they ll need to be held accountable for this poor boy. I hope the other kids are doing okay. |
