The Bats are back in my backyard!
I was just out near my fire pit trying to get it calmed down and there they were..........flying around, must of been 10-20 of them. When they get close to your head they kinda sound like a power steering pump squealing. It's like a warbling sound. Anyways, it's great because they eat the mosquitos and they have been gone for like 2 years............THEIR BACK!!

The mother of the baby said the baby fell in the toilet “accidentally” after she....drum roll please!....unexpectedly gave birth while on the toilet and the baby slipped in to the sewer!
Of course! Makes perfect sense to me, no contractions no labour just squat down and “splat” without any warning out comes your bambino!
Now all we have to solve is the riddle of how and who cut the umbilical cord?

The authorities in China believe what the birth mother told them. There isn't an eyeroll big enough for this bullshit. The baby has been released to his maternal grandparents and chances are the mother will be given custody when she is released from the hospital.

She didn't want the kid and she flushed it to get rid of it, seems blatantly obvious to me. She should have been arrested for attempted infanticide but in China life is often still cheap.

This story only meant something to people outside of China. According to a Brit I listened to last night on Anderson's show there are literally thousands of babies abandoned every year, thousands. The fact that one got flushed instead of simply dumped somewhere meant nothing to that society.

I can remember seeing a photo taken in Beijing about ten years ago, it showed the corpse of a fully formed newborn baby lying on the curb of a busy street and loads of people are walking past it paying no attention whatsoever.
I also remember a video posted here a good while ago now, it showed a young toddler wandering alone in a busy back street in China. The poor little sod gets run over by a truck and is left lying there in the road screaming as loads of vehicles just drive around here and people walk past ignoring her. A couple of women eventually appear and attend to the kid, I think I'm right in saying that that kid died later in hospital.

Yeah I got home yesterday morning at 11 am after 40 hours awake. Stupid fucking people that take a 20 month old and a three year old on a long haul fight without phenergan should be shot..

Speaking of kids, Thing 1 just had his appendix out about an hour ago. He is in recovery and I need a Valium. When they took him to the OR I had a complete breakdown. I was mortified. But that's my baby. He is doing fine now and we even got a picture of his appendix.
