Thank you. I'm feeling pretty damn handy today. I needed to clean the aquarium but hell if I wanted to stick the hose in there and suck on it to start the syphon (nothing like a mouth full of fish water). Sooooo, I broke out the shop vac, hooked it up to the hose and used my hands to create a seal. Insta-syphon!! No mess.
I also discovered that sticking a turkey baster in a hose and squeezing it a dozen times doesn't work.

It's nearly impossible to get Workers Compensation Insurance for my business's class in California. The provider I've been using for over 3 years will cease covering this industry as of tomorrow at midnight. 3 quotes later and the lowest rate I was able to get is 2% higher than my current rate, with no claims pending, a good experience mod, and only 1 payout in 4 years. Really hurts my bottom line a lot.
On the plus side, the other two competitive quotes were way higher than this last provider that I found and I talked to some other owners nearby this week; my rate was among the lowest. So, it could be worse.
Just sent in the down payment for next year's coverage and needed a whine.

Hard to get a clear answer; same thing happened about 5 years ago. There were only 3 providers at that time that would write the industry, but then after a couple of years, it bounced back.
Best I can ascertain, it's because of the indutry wide loss/run over the course of the year and the relatively small size of the industry for the trouble. There's a lot of lifting, tranferring, showering, transporting...of some folks who are not ambulatory or minorly so. Lots of risk built in there.
Enough of my woes... Cool on the Kindle - you're no longer undefined!

Good question. I typed the same thing to Duchess the other day and deleted it when I realized I could probably look around and figure it out. I haven't tried yet but the full version is a little tough to deal with on that small of a screen...I'ma look right now and see if I can change to the mobile version.
And...the answer is yes. I was able to change to the mobile version.

The mobile version on my Nexus7 is limited and has only 2 colors. I always use the full version. If a device has the processor capacity to handle it, the full version is much better and my preference.
