User, you never, never put paper towels down a toilet. I think someone needs to invest in a book of do's and don'ts regarding
minor, simple, easy, routine household tasks and.........you need to know where the plunger is at all times.
Poor dog, must have eaten too many left-over Christmas treats. Is he O.K.?

I should know this but I always test these things. I once took a hot, glass casserole dish out of the oven and immediately immersed it in cold water. I'm here to tell you that it will explode and you'll spend a lot of time fishing glass bits out of the garbage disposal.

We needed a new one last year and I bought a Bosch. Damn thing is quiet as a mouse, which is what I needed because our last one sounded like a jet engine.
It was $1000, but I'd pay it again. Great dishwasher.

I just got a call from my daughter's school. She brought a plastic, green gun to school on Monday, pulled it out of her backpack and pointed it at someone. She thought it was really funny.

It was a really stupid thing for her to do given the current environment but I'm not pissed really. I just think it was a total knucklehead move.
The Vice Principal said typically they'd suspend her for 1-3 days but because she was obviously joking, and because it was obviously a fake gun, she's getting two hours of detention after school on Friday.
