I haven't thought about those handsome devils in years. Last I heard the little guy was in an insane asylum in England.

Dear Sally,

I've never fried anything in my life using oil. I've made a grilled cheese sandwich and that's sorta kinda like frying but anyway...do you think fear of burning down my house is a valid excuse for not frying?

RE: ASK SALLY ANYTHING - sally - 03-08-2017

You have a gas range, don't you? When you spill oil on gas burners it doesn't go up in flames like an electric burner. It will flame up, but then it dies out. It's the electric burners you don't want oil to spill on.

Or you could get yourself one of those electric fry daddy's and start frying up a mess of chicken and livers with no worries at all. They have a max oil line that assures the oil won't overflow.

Or you could just skip it. The grease stinks up the whole house and clogs your arteries.

One time I had the electric burners and an old stove and the element got thin and shot out an arc that then seemed like it went across the room and sparked a bit like a sparkler. Scared the shit out of me.

So did you ever find out the answer to your creepy candle sticks?

That happened at an old apartment I lived at about 20 years ago. I was cooking corned beef and cabbage and I heard a loud "pop" and it damn near blew the corned beef out the window.

That turns me off.

Any time I've fried stuff in the house the smell of the grease lingers in there for a couple of days.

Now when I do fry something like chicken wings I do it outside on the gas burner.

That's what I do with smelly Broccoli & Califlower!

Boil just the water in pot on the stove, then put it on the gas grill add the smelly stuff and finish cooking it outside! No smell in house, works great! 44

Sally's great!

RE: ASK SALLY ANYTHING - Maggot - 03-09-2017

Sally, is it true that 6 of the 7 dwarfs aren't happy?

RE: ASK SALLY ANYTHING - BigMark - 03-09-2017

I rear ended a car this morning...
I tell you, it was going to be a REALLY bad day!

The driver got out of the other car, and he was a
DWARF!!

He looked up at me and said "I am NOT Happy!"

So I said, "Well, which one ARE you then?"

That's how the fight started...

Sally, in general, how late at night do adults stay up to?

Well adults range from 18 to 122 years. So what age group are we talking about here?

RE: ASK SALLY ANYTHING - Duchess - 03-16-2017

Dinosaurs roamed the earth when I was born. I'm an old fuck.

You took too long. I'm in bed with my iPad.

RE: ASK SALLY ANYTHING - BigMark - 03-16-2017
