RE: ASK SALLY ANYTHING - Duchess - 05-28-2021

Nature is full of treasures, you bitches. I'm glad Clang is recognizing that during his walks.

Nope. But even if it rains we will be in a cabin. And now we only going to be there Saturday and Sunday. And go home Monday. My friend has something else to do on Monday.

hah   Is that a sigh of relief I hear?

A little bit. I can relax a little bit and do food shopping on Monday now instead of coming home Tuesday morning before work and food shopping Tuesday night.

Where is Sally? Did I read that she bought a house? Why? Did she leave her husband yet??? Why not? (because of the kids. I know)

RE: ASK SALLY ANYTHING - Duchess - 06-01-2021

I think I read she's getting shitfaced at the Magic Kingdom.

It's been a while since I walked on the tracks. I see plenty of nature there. As soon as I get my shit together I'm gonna go again walking. Sometimes I even go into work late because of it. It's about a 3 mile trek.

I bought a lot, not a house. The reason I did it is because my husband's brother is building a million dollar house and he cant have his little brother outdoing him. We have the money to do it, but we will have to refinance our current home which I'm not a 100% comfortable with. Right now we have no debt at all. On the other hand I can imagine the awesome house. I'll be like the housewives of daytona beach except not on crack.

RE: ASK SALLY ANYTHING - MirahM - 06-02-2021

How far away from your current house is the lot? I hope the price of wood comes down before you start building.

RE: ASK SALLY ANYTHING - Carsman - 06-02-2021

If the cost of wood doesn't adjust to the times, there are always alternatives for
cost cutting, like possibly using metal studs & beams where possible.

According to the HomeDepot.com website (Michigan), as of April 13, 2021, a traditional whitewood 2x4x8 was selling for $6.85 while the equivalent metal stud was $4.38.

(As an aside, termites are a major concern in many SNAKEland (I HATE SNAKES)  areas! Metal not affected)

Sally, have you ever made spaghetti squash?

RE: ASK SALLY ANYTHING - rothschild - 06-07-2021

It's good, but more importantly, it's easy. Blowing-kisses

I've made squashed spaghetti when I accidentally sat on a plate of spaghetti.

RE: ASK SALLY ANYTHING - Duchess - 06-07-2021

Oh Clang.

I have a vague memory of sitting on the pizza box.

Yes I make it all the time. That vegetable box I get was sending me so much of it I was starting to get sick of it. It is quite healthy and easy to cook though. If you want to kick up the health factor even more, it goes well with ginger and cinnamon. You can also bake it and serve with marinara and parmesan just like spaghetti.

How the fuck do you accidentally sit on a plate of spaghetti? That's like accidentally sitting on a dick.

RE: ASK SALLY ANYTHING - BigMark - 06-07-2021

A spaghetti dick.

That's ^^^^^^^ what interests me. I've heard of it but I never took the time to actually do it.
