he makes beautiful Christmas wreaths and can hammer nails into large dead tree things i think they call 2 x 4s, and he can leap over snowbanks in a single bound!

He seems to enjoy killing small rodents as well. What a renaissance man.

I tell ya I was down by the beggers island today, and down by the rapids where I fish, the water was cold and fast and the sun was shinning. There was a bronze statue of a mill woman there. Her eyes were frozen and timeless. And everything was cool and blue. Sometimes brown and white, but it made the day memorable.

those streams are one reason i love your area any time of year...that water is always cold and pure.

Very nice, that water looks like it produces some delicious tasting fish that is as pure and clean as the Mother Mary.

RE: Random photos - LuMPyPussy - 02-04-2010

That statue doesn't look so scary from a distance.

That is the "Mill Woman" dedicated to all the women that worked the mills weaving cloth at the turn of the century. I always thought it was serene and forlorn. It makes me think of how hardworking and dedicated they were, and forgotten in a thankless time. Funny that they are remembered and not the men that they supported during the war and after. As I said a thankless task but not forgotten through the statue that remains as a testiment towards their fortitude. I admire that.
