Vindication - Lady Cop - 07-28-2010 vindication can be gratifying. i feel vindicated about a situation, and yet take no pleasure in it. when you warn someone about a possible and likely outcome, and they do not listen to you, they may discover that they should have. in the matter i am thinking of, what i predicted has happened. and i actually feel badly about it because i like the person who failed to take heed. i had proven myself for years and loyally protected the affected area. but that wasn't taken into consideration. in fact i was figuratively slapped in the face. i don't gloat. i am happy where i am. that is the best 'revenge' after all, is it not? all i can say is....
