If you've got a Wii, PS3 or XBox, they work the same way.

None of the above. I'll be checking into it though...I'm tired of paying for 200 channels of nothingness.

Almost the same way. My Wii doesn't do Hulu Plus. They all have things they do and things they don't. Your older Roku probably does YouTube but the new ones don't.

I didn't mind cable until I was forced to have the fucking box. We already have too many boxes for the TVs with Bluray, gaming systems, speakers, etc. I was PISSED when they forced me to get the boxes. Plus, Xfinity breaks up all the time and has to be reset (takes from 15 minutes to two days to do this, usually have to call the number which really infuriates me). If I am stuck with a box, it might as well be a free streaming box. That's what they get for putting the idea in my head in the first place.

Fuck the cable company. Except the Internet side. I'm still their bitch.

I already had Netflix and Hulu Plus, so the only thing the kid will miss is Disney Channel. We already used the streaming more than the cable, so it wasn't a big deal for it to be gone. I can buy the Real Housewives episodes from iTunes if Bravotv.com doesn't post them and I really care that much.

If you aren't attached to the TV, Roku is fine.

Those shows are like a bad car wreck; you just can't stop looking! I watch some of those just to make fun of the women and have a good belly laugh at how ignorant most of them are!

Looks like fun. Once you get above 30 feet it really doesn't matter anymore how high you go, if you fall you will certianly be just as dead.

Bullshit! The higher you are the longer you you have to think about the eventual thud. Imagine the horror of skydiving and your chute doesn't open. It would have to be the longest ride of your life.
Give me 30' any day.

That show depresses me, it's like looking into my future.

Seriously though, the first and only episode I watched was of an old couple that tried to rescue stray cats and the people that came in to help them found rotting corpses of kittens in crawl spaces and fecal matter all the hell over the place. Sad for the cats and terribly sad for the old couple that tried to help and ended up knee deep in shit.

RE: the 2012 trivial drivel thread - Maggot - 01-05-2012

I have to put my cat "Sylvester" down soon. That old mouser is falling apart puking up and taking dumps where he aint supposed to. The stupid box is nice and clean. I cannot put up with it. I get on my excercise contraption in the cellar and that fucker lays a turd at the door I wanna barf.
His days are numbered I tell ya. I'm debating on wringing his neck or bringing him to the vets. It fucks with my head just thinking about it. I saved him now I must finish him. This thing will not sit well in my heart.

RE: the 2012 trivial drivel thread - username - 01-05-2012

I'm very sorry, Maggot.

For the love of God (or anything), please take him to the vet and don't DIY.

RIP, Sylvester. Signs_173

Why?

RE: the 2012 trivial drivel thread - Lady Cop - 01-05-2012

just think of him as old sylvester and do what you humanely must.

Mark Twain once said " You must be willing to shoot your own dog, you cannot farm it out"

One of my g-mas was a hoarder. We had to go clean all that shit up after she died. I could tell you horror stories about cleaning that hog-pen up. I will forever be traumatized and will never watch that show.
I cringe whenever I hear about hoarders...

RE: the 2012 trivial drivel thread - Maggot - 01-05-2012

I enjoyed every min with that cat........he was a smart one compared to the rest. I'm gonna miss him. 111

Is he gone, Maggot? 21

I personally couldn't put an animal down myself (although my neighbor intentionally over dosed her guinea pigs with melatonin which holds some appeal) but whatever you decided, I understand. It just seems like it would have been harder on you to DIY.

I'd send you (((hugs))) but I'd look like a real fucking tard doing that here.

RE: the 2012 trivial drivel thread - Duchess - 01-06-2012

Ima coward. I've never been able to go with any of my pets that have been put down. It's just awful & I'm a hot mess in that situation.
