What do/don't you like with regards to efforts your s/o makes with regards to her looks. Do you like french manicures? What if she dyes her hair vs. showing gray? Make-up? Armpit hair?
I think most men want at least good hygiene but...do you like it when your woman is your "arm candy"?
My husband actually dislikes it when I go out with him wearing anything form fitting or that shows some cleavage (i.e., anything remotely "sexy"). He feels like it detracts from his enjoyment at an event because he's more focused on how other men are responding to me (or some such nonsense) instead of just relaxing and enjoying the event.
On the other hand, I spend most of my days make-up less and wearing workout clothes so it's not a constant issue for me. The rare times we do go out though, I like to dress for him and look my best.
What are your thoughts on female primping? What is too much?

I don't know, this is kind of a tough one. I mean what guy is going to say he wouldn't want his woman to be eye candy?
That aside, a woman who is well put together no matter what she wears is fine by me. Whether it's a workout outfit, cocktail dress, or just a nice pair of thigh highs, pumps, and a smile - it's all good.
Hygiene goes without saying. Brush teeth, shave, shower, and smell nice - it's the least someone can do. Beyond that, if a woman wants to dye her hair that's her decision really. Too much make-up is bad, mmmkay? Natural looking women are far more stunning to me than heavily made up ones.

I like my wife to look good when we go out.
She doesn't use much makeup. She tans easily and has an almost olive complexion. I love her skin.
She has a nice top-half, so if she likes to accentuate that, all the better.
She's now a suburban hausfrau (after working as an administrator for 14 years), and I know she likes it, but man, kids CAN run you ragged.
I try and spoil her with massages, and spa treatments, but she does not like to splurge on herself.
Our anniversary is coming up in a couple of weeks, and she wants a new bag/purse so I'm going to get her a NICE one.

Mine always makes the effort to look really nice when we go out and most of the time when at home. She is very pretty with a very bright smile, but she isn't one of the kind that can pull off Smouldering and Sexy, just not what she does best. I like the french manicure, she covers the gray and always makes me look good with her on my arm.
