From Charlie’s speech at least he offered an olive branch to Harry and Meghan. What they make of it
remains to be seen. It was said Harry is “5th” in line to become King, so that’s longer then his life span.
Therefore they likely will continue with their current non royal life style. Can’t blame them.

Why should they have to make anything of it? I don't ask that rudely, I'm just wondering given it's been widely reported that they wanted to leave the royal family because of their shitty treatment.

They wont make anything of it. Markle wont stop and will destroy the Royal family if she can, and will come out of that smelling of roses. Markle is a narcissist, a serious mental illness.

Narcissists are easy to deal with if you are not a sensitive person. You become the narcissist except ten fold on them. They don't like it, but it humbles them. Narcissistic traits are different from full blown narcissistic personality disorder, however. Those people are actually really crazy, not just fucking assholes.
