This guy cracks me up. I actually learned about him in The NY Times this weekend of all places. He’s been mocking our county anonymously (think Bridgerton if you watched it) but revealed himself to the Times. He lives here…and does a good job writing about the cities and vibe (for better or worse).

Just probably pissed off most of my town on FB. Somebody got grazed by a bullet yesterday in our downtown area and the community is fucking up in arms over it. “Gangs in town!”. “Call ICE!”. “Must be people coming over from Oakland!”.

I just told them that….”just say you’re an entitled racist without actually saying it”.

Fuck ‘em.

I also wanted to say that I apologise for not being in here much. I am hoping to now be back regularly. It has been so much shit going down here where I live. I have been working my arse off. So happy I got to come in here tonight and post without being exhausted. I tried to get in here for a couple of days now but each time I would be tasked with another thing and by the time I get to 'me time', I'm spent.

All this work I have been a part of has been massive. But because it's politics it's murky. I'm in it for making the world a better place, others are in it for ego and enriching themselves. When you have people in it for themselves you cannot win, so we lost. It's devastating, like you guys, where I live, people will die.

What you're really asking, in my opinion, is why don't they see it the way people like you do, and the answer is pretty straightforward: they're focused on the other party's deficiencies rather than their own, and that holds true for both parties.

I’ve been watching Alone the last couple of nights. Mice make a decent dinner if you’re starving.

I used to love cereal (breakfast or as a snack). It’s weird, I’ll crave it periodically in the middle of the night and think “tomorrow, I’m having cereal!” and then I don’t. Go figure.

Our house cleaners will be here tomorrow and I’ll spend an inordinate amount of time getting ready for them today. Always so much picking up to do and I wash comforters and floor rugs and stuff in advance.

I did see his response, and it's valid. What would Trump have run on if the Democratic Party hadn't abandoned the middle class and gone all-in on identity politics and a "social justice" agenda that was intended to drive up the crime rate and increase polarization, defending the human rights of billionaires?

You and millions of other Americans got played and all you can do is wonder why 40% of the electorate didn't support the party that created the problems Trump is "fixing".
