I think the big deal over it is because the whole time he's out there politicking and campaigning he was saying how he's going to lead the country morally etc.
When you claim to be a church going family man devoted to your wife and family, it hits a sore spot especially if you have aspirations for being the president of our country.
Politicians have enough of a stigma of being cheats and liars and although we all know the truth, we want to believe the next guy we vote for.
And for all GW's faults I really don't think he personally is a liar. I see him as too loyal to his "people" and administration and maybe even a bit gullible as well. It's those around him that have lied. Maybe you can call him a liar by the fact the lies have been fed to him and he's repeated them but in my book that does not make him a liar.
I would NEVER hire a liar for any job I need him for best man for it or not. I couldn't trust that person around me, mine and the other employee's belongings. Liars lack trustworthiness.
As for her not wanting the DNA test.... I see that as weird in itself. Do you really think he would "cut the gravy train" so to speak if it's his and still boast he'll take the DNA test himself? You KNOW news like that will leak out one way or another some day along the road. He can't be THAT stupid to add one more nail in his coffin.
But all in all, this story is dead and old already. It's not newsworthy as headline news for a week long where there are more important issues out there that should be reported on.
