what bothers me here is that some depts. do not let their officers carry concealed off-duty. this is a shining example of why they should! my sheriff said to me "you are NEVER off-duty, just off shift". we always carried 24/7. you never knew what situation you could find yourself in or what idiot who hates you, you are going to bump into in the street, restaurant or beauty salon! or the guy in front of you in line is robbing the 7-11.
wake up you chiefs out there who make your officers lock up their duty weapons off the clock!
