VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) – The search for 30-year-old Amy Sue Henslee took a heartbreaking turn Thursday.
A relative tells Newschannel 3 that two bodies were found near the trailer where blood was found earlier on Thursday, relatives say one of them is Amy.
Police say BJ Beebe Jr., a relative of the family who owns the trailer where relatives say the bodies were found, is considered a suspect.
HARTFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) - At least one body was found Thursday night at the trailer where investigators earlier discovered blood, possibly connected to the disappearance of a Hartford Township mother, police sources said.
Neither the body, nor the blood, have been identified.
Officials with the Grand Rapids-based Michigan State Police Crime Lab also were called to the Hartford Township property, several miles from Henslee's home -- in the 42000 block of Country Road 687.
Amy Henslee, 30, hasn't been seen since Monday.
Some relatives of her husband, James Henslee, own the property in question. Police were there Thursday evening and into the night, and took one "person in question" from the scene for questioning: a cousin of James.
That cousin lives in a camper near the front of the Hartford Township property, where the blood was found. Additional facilities sit about a quarter mile behind the unit.
