Only three volunteers showed up Saturday to search miles of countryside for Hailey Dunn, the 13-year-old missing since December 27.
In spite of the discouragement in the Civic Center, volunteer search coordinator Kristy Lloyd remained hopeful.
“Even though our search numbers are dwindling our hope has not faded that we will find Hailey Dunn alive,” she said. “I see in people’s faces they are starting to lose hope and frustration is growing. What we need from you right now is to not give up hope. Hailey is still out there somewhere. She needs to be brought home to safety”
