It was obvious to me that this teacher wanted everyone to conform to his ideals, look alike, talk alike and dress alike, I think if he had really been allowed to he would have had them all in uniforms, I ran him up hard for his crap,the principle told me she had never had a meeting quite like it before where the teacher was the one in the hot seat.
Skating was his sport, that and BMX bikes, this was back in the 80's, things have changed a little since then.
while my other kids played baseball,soccer,football and the regular sports this one chose a different path, I never tried to discourage my kids from being individuals, it has paid off later in life.
They are dedicated, hard working productive people today, and those values are being passed along to their children.
Cracker, if individual rights are not protected at the school level, you can bet that the kids today will be raised to believe that the government is their mommy and daddy, that government provides them with an education, that the government will protect them,feed them,and house them.
Its the DOE way.
Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.
