ATHENS COUNTY, Ohio -- A cell mate of Bill Inman, a suspected kidnapper of Summer Inman, told ABC6/FOX28 that he witnessed Bill's shock when Summer's body was found.
"He said, 'There goes my case,'" Chuck McCarron said.
Summer Inman disappeared in late March. Her estranged husband and in-laws are charged with kidnapping her. Summer's body was found on March 29 in a church septic tank. No murder charges have been filed.
McCarron was serving a sentence for a D.U.I. conviction at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail, the same facility housing the Inmans.
McCarron, who was released on Friday, said Summer's husband, Will, was in solitary confinement, but Bill was not. At least not right away.(probably on a suicide watch)
"This guy had no remorse," McCarron said of Bill.
