Papile is accused of suffocating and/or drowning Dittmeyer, according to court paperwork.
Court documents said Papile and Petelis discussed arrangements to steal drugs and money from Dittmeyer on April 22. Petelis sent Dittmeyer a text message at 9:43 p.m., instructing her to call when she was on her way to his apartment, court documents said.
Papile is accused of striking Dittmeyer on the head with a rubber club as she walked upstairs into that apartment. She was then bound with duct tape and placed into the trunk of her own car, documents said.
Ferguson and Papile then drove Dittmeyer's car to the Cranmore Mountain Resort area, according to court documents.
On April 22 or 23, Papile removed Dittmeyer from the trunk of her car and disposed of the bound body in a snowmaking pond at Cranmore Mountain, according to the court documents. Ferguson picked him up from Cranmore Mountain, and Papile gave Ferguson money and drugs, court documents said.
Dittmeyer's car was found April 23 idling with its hazard lights on and her 14-month-old daughter inside. The discovery sparked an intensive search, and her body was found in the snowmaking pond a few days later.
