I think the hallmark of an online douchebag is a person who only visits the forums to pick apart the other members rather than engage in discussion.

I actually seek out places where I can do that. I'm like the Hitler of stupid people & it's my mission in life to shine the verbal spotlight on the dumbasses of the world. There's not much that brings me greater joy than to push buttons & jerk chains & to be able to do it to such a degree I've made them lose their composure. heh heh
