UPDATE: Madison police say 7-year-old boy found safe

He had gone to a family friend's house just a few blocks away and spent the night there.
Aakash's parents never bothered to check with those friends because they believed the entire family was on vacation.
But the family's father was home and let Aakash spend the night there.

Great to see a good outcome, and so quickly. I do think it's weird that a family friend would let a 7 year old stay overnight (when his kids weren't even at the house) and not call the boy's parents. Oh well, at least Aakash is safe. Hopefully, he won't be allowed to wander around alone so much anymore.
