many lives have been saved, police officer and suspect, by use of the taser.
the statistically rare few who have died have been (usually) coked up, or had medical conditions that no cop could know.
i will maintain forever, a taser beats a bullet. many people who would have been shot in the past are now tased instead. criminals should be thankful for them.
note, in this instance the Trooper weighed nearly 300 lbs. she weighed 100. she ran out into traffic. he dropped her so she wouldn't be hit by a car, he didn't want to play in the traffic either, & if he tackled her someone would be screaming about the weight difference.
