I'm getting nervous now too. Tomorrow will be day 8 of deliberations. If they hang or find Edwards not guilty, it'll be on Andrew Young, imo. Young's gotta be near the worst possible star witness a prosecuting attorney could be saddled with. Lied to the public about Edwards' activity. Lied to both "donors"; neither knew the other was paying for some of the same expenses for Hunter. Lied to Elizabeth Edwards. Lied and claimed he was the father of Hunter's baby. Snagged some of the donors' moneys and paid for home construction. Profited off his wrong-doings with a tell-all book. The list goes on...
Worried that the Defense did a very good job putting Young's character and greediness on trial; creating doubt that Edwards knew everything that Young was doing. Hoping the jury is stuck on only one or two counts and clear on the most direct ones. Edwards is guilty of campaign fraud and deserves some jail time, imo.
