Lay your problems at my feet, Clang and for a small fee I will dispose of them.
My problem is: Damned if I do, damned if I don't. If I spend the day job fairs/job interviews/job searching then I get in trouble for not doing enough to help clean and de-junk the house and if I help clean/de-junk the house then I'm not doing enough to job search and whatever. And on top of that it seems to change regarding what type of job I should take. If I say I should go for a low paying job(as many here have suggested) she'll tell me you'll never support yourself with that. If I go for a high paying job she'll say "You'll never get that, or that isn't good enough. Then the next day she'll say the opposite. And want me to take any old job.
Well now we know where you got your stupid from. FFS, she's your mother. Don't you think at this age you ought to be thinking for yourself?
Take any job (and no, I wouldn't recommend you take a job that is solely commission based at this point). You don't have any kids to support or anything. Even a low paying job might give you enough to get out of the house and rent a sofa in somebody's garage or something. Plus, there's no law that says you can't keep looking for a better job once you land something. And, employers will be more interested in you if you're already working. It shows you actually have some work ethic.
