You make the real deal, don't you? I've made this before with sausage & shrimp but it all started from a box, Zatarains or something like that.
The box is ok for a quick meal, but I was talking about the real thing which would probally be more work than you want to do now that I think about it. Ham is probally the easiest. If you need a side these potatoes are always good and easy, the recipe can also be doubled.

Cheesy potatoes

1 stick melted butter
12 tablespoon onion powder
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon salt
12 teaspoon pepper
1 regular size can of cream of mushroom soup
13 cup sour cream
2 lbs frozen shredded hash browns thawed

Mix all together, place in a large casserole dish and bake at 350 for an hour or untill browned.
