Thanks for the additional information on the case.When I first read about it yesterday, figured maybe she'd taken off for short periods before and that's why the parents seemed what I consider a bit nonchalant about it.
It's been too long now though; I think someone would have seen the news and called in if she was okay. I think your gut is right (but hope it's wrong).
