I suspect we'll here more about when their mom knew or suspected soon enough.
I saw an article stating that she called in about something on the boy's Facebook during the course of the investigation, but not whether that was before or after the vigil and reward announcement. It may not have been a factor for her and she may not get anything either way, but I'm curious about how all of this unfolded and whether Autumn knew the boys.
