OMG! who could turn away anyone, especially someone with such young children during a storm like that. He will be miserable the rest of his life for sure. He will not be miserable for the rest of his life...he doesn't care enough to give it another thought. Yes, there are people in this world void of any kind of feelings, emotions or conscience.
Sad that this was the only house she could get to before her children were swept away.
Hopefully, he will know what misery is in the afterlife.
