Al Sharpton also made a public statement that he didn't care if she used the word "nigger' 27 years ago.
They both took hits for it, but made good sense, IMO, in their views that she shouldn't be destroyed for something that happened so long ago in a different era.
No no, I meant the rallies, marches, and boycotts that they throw for all of their other race hustles. THAT'S how they affect change... not with statements of support.
I expect we'll see them both helping Paula get her career back any day now.
