Have this exact crime go down the exact same way, but just flip the race of the perps and victim. Imagine if one of the perps involved had tweeted about hating black people, and was shortly thereafter involved in 'randomly' killing a black person.

Would it have anything to do with race then? Would the reaction and the response to the incident be different then?

The narratives, reporting, and activism are certainly adjusted based on the race of the perps and victims. Anyone who denies it isn't being intellectually honest or just hasn't been paying attention.

Or someone will just label me a racist for stating the obvious.

Seems to me if it would have to do with race in one direction, it has to do with race in the other direction.

This post wreaks of racism. You don't need to be an academic to analyse the tone or the content to understand this. This is grade 1 stuff.

I tried to highlight which parts are specifically racist but the whole lot is hate based along with the disclaimer in the second last paragraph and the nonsense in the last bit. "race in one direction it has to do with race in the other direction" a statement like that comes from someone with limited understanding and insight into culture, ethnicity different communities and how the social structure works. The same of one community is not the same way in another. Different people have different experiences, expectations, fears, just like yours would be different to that of an englishman. That is very basic.
