Alexis's mom (Laura Murphy, left) met in Charlottesville with Gil Harrington (right) and the mothers of other missing girls from the area yesterday. They were raising funds for the "Help Save the Next Girl" organization.
Gil is the mother of Morgan Harrington, the Virginia Tech student who was abducted, killed and dumped during a visit to Charlottesville to attend a Metallica concert back in 2009. (Morgan's story: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morgan_Dana_Harrington)
