I'm setting up camp next to you.
Still don't really understand why US prison administrators and physicians can't work collaboratively to come up with one death-drug cocktail that is tested and then administered consistently in all executions across death penalty states. The controversy surrounding the various drug combinations and secrecy regarding the suppliers is costing a lot of time and money in appeals and stays.
FWIW, I support the death penalty in murder cases where there is a verified confession and/or solid DNA or surveillance evidence proving guilt.
Life without the possibility of parole is a better (and proven to be cheaper) alternative when there is any question of guilt -- people have been wrongly executed in the past and, to me, it's not the worth the risk of killing an innocent person.
IMO, the death penalty will be revoked in a few states amidst this current controversy (although that's nothing new historically).
