Never mind, I didn't read your post right. I see that you crushed the poor snake to death with the garage door first. I was thinking you caught him and carried him out alive.

Your post #5 was correct, the SNAKE (I HATE SNAKES) was "butted" up to the garage door/floor rubber seal and coiled up asleep, not under it! (I HATE SNAKES)

So that's why I needed a towel to pick it up, if it was dead, I could have just picked it up with a shovel. ( IHATE SNAKES)

My hating SNAKES (my blood runs cold when I see one on my property) does not mean that I won't deal with them when needed. Who else am I gonna call, SNAKE Busters? (I do HATE SNAKES, I really really do)
