So a meteor flys by

Yup it fly's by the Earth Halloween. Today is ¹⁰⁄₂₁ and we have been told about this maybe a week ago. it got me thinking that if something was coming and the Earth was in the bull's-eye we may have 2-3 weeks to scramble around like nut cases before it whacks us. With all the technology the Hubbles the radio telescope arrays and amateur skywatchers we still have no clue what is coming at us. Space is black we just cannot see these things no matter how hard we try and fool ourselves.

What makes you think the public would know 2-3 weeks in advance?

Because that's about how long people have known about this one. Although they do have some that are 20 yrs off into the future. Scientists are worse than Politicians!!

Because this one isn't going to hit us.
